Bio: Larry Murphy enters his fourth 3ICE season and his second year leading the Minnesota squad, the reigning Patty Cup winners. A true champion with a blue-collar mindset honed during his playing days in Minnesota, Murphy brings that same grit to his coaching. In 2023, Team Murphy claimed the Patty Cup, and he was named the Eddie Johnston Coach of the Year. As a player, Murphy made history as the only player to win four Stanley Cups in the 1990s, going back-to-back with Pittsburgh in 1991 and 1992, then repeating the feat with Detroit in 1997 and 1998. With 1,216 points, he remains the fifth-highest scoring defenseman in NHL history and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2004. Today, Murphy continues his passion for hockey as a studio analyst for the Red Wings on Fox Sports Detroit.
