3ICE NY/NJ

Ken Daneyko enters his first season as coach of 3ICE New York/New Jersey. The rugged NHL legend played his entire 22-year career with the New Jersey Devils, earning him the fan-appointed nickname “Mr. Devil”. After being drafted by the club with the 18th overall pick in the 1982 draft, the Edmonton, Alberta-native proceeded to appear in a franchise-record 1,283 career games, highlighted by Stanley Cup wins in 1995, 2000 and 2003. One of the era’s top defenseman, he also logged a franchise-high 2,516 penalty minutes, another mark that still stands today. His #3 Devils uniform was retired by the team on March 24, 2006, becoming just the second to hang from the Prudential Center rafters. Daneyko currently provides color commentary for all Devils broadcasts on MSGSN.
