Bio: Pierre Turgeon enters his second season as head coach of 3ICE Buffalo. Inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2023, Turgeon enjoyed a remarkable 19-year NHL career, appearing in 1,294 games and retiring in 2007. Drafted first overall by Buffalo in the 1987 NHL Entry Draft, the five-time All-Star spent five seasons with the Sabres before playing for the Islanders, Canadiens, Blues, Stars and Avalanche. When joining Colorado as a free agent in 2005, Turgeon switched from his iconic #77 to #88, as #77 had been retired by the Avalanche for fellow 3ICE coach Ray Bourque. On November 8, 2005, he became the 34th player in NHL history to score 500 career goals, finishing with 515 goals and 1,327 points.
