Samson Mahbod, Canada was selected 75th overall by the Gatineau Olympiques of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) in 2005. After five seasons in the QMJHL, he played five seasons in the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL). Most recently, he has played over 10 seasons playing in various international leagues, including the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).
